Dr. González did his post-doctoral training in biomedical engineering at Harvard Medical School and MIT, earned his PhD in computer science in EPFL, Switzerland and did his undergraduate studies in engineering and interactive systems in UPM, Spain and KTH, Sweden. German’s interests lie in the intersection of biomedical research, computer science and artificial intelligence, with an special focus on translational research. Germán has published more than 40 scientific communications and holds five patents in image processing algorithms and microscopy methods.
